The Enzo Piccinini orchestra was founded in August 2024 as part of the association Un Altro Orizzonte APS (A different horizon APS) The rediscovery of the deep connection between the beauty of classical music and everyday life constitutes the vision that inspires Bernadette and Emmanuele lo Russo—concertmaster and conductor, respectively—to gather musicians from all over the country for concert performances. What emerges from their concerts is the orchestra’s defining quality: the experience of participating more profoundly in the meaning expressed through music—the awakening of human needs.

Only an encounter with unimaginable Beauty can awaken the whole person. For this reason, the orchestra is named in honour of the Servant of God Enzo Piccinini, a key figure in the lives of the members of A different horizon APS.

Since September 2024, the Enzo Piccinini Orchestra has performed in Torino, Comacchio (FE), Lavello (PZ), Chioggia (VE), and Reggio Emilia.
