Biography

Born in 1989 into a family of musicians, Emmanuele lo Russo embarked on the study of violin and chamber music at the age of six under the tutelage of masters and godparents Eddy Perpich and Lucia Passaglia.
From a very young age he has performed as a soloist and in chamber ensembles with his siblings at Teatro Poliziano in Montepulciano di Siena, Teatro Tradizionale in Atri, Teatro Comunale Treviso, Auditorium of G.D’Annunzio University in Pescara, Italian Cultural Institute in Nairobi, Kenya, S.Catherine Church in New York.
He was admitted to the G.Verdi Conservatory in Milan with flying colors and graduated at the age of nineteen.
Winner of national and international competitions including: European music competition in Moncalieri, Le Camenae d’oro citta di Pompei, Marco Dall’Aquila in L’Aquila, International competition for young musicians in Barletta, Concorso Ciampi in Rome, Emmanuele lo Russo perfected his violin studies in Tel Aviv with M° Hagai Shaham.
He studied conducting with Maestro Donato Renzetti and composition at the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto.
Participates in master classes given by masters such as M^ Gianandrea in Tel Aviv, M^ Gary S.Fagin in New York City.
In 2010 he recorded his first recording work as composer and first violinist in the family ensemble named Family in Music at the Teatro Sociale in Rovigo, and since 2016, Emmanuele lo Russo has been conducting his music for symphony orchestra and opera choir in Turin, Chioggia, Treviso, and Rimini, arriving in 2022 to the recording of his second recording work entitled Un sussulto al cuore.

Between 2023 and 2024, he conducted the New York Chamber Orchestra, receiving the Respighi Prize with
honorable mention, Tokyo Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra at Oji Hall in Ginza, RBSO Royal Bangkok Syomphony Orchestra at Main Hall of Thailand Cultural Center with press praise, Baugè Opera Orchestra in France, Union Europe Orchestra in Vienna at Ehrbar Hall, Hollywood Symphony Studio Orchestra at Warner Bros. studios in Los Angeles.
